As a long-time Tim Burton fan, loving all of his movies from his popular works, ("Edward Scissorhands"/ "A Nightmare Before Christmas") to his lesser known films, ("Ed Wood"/ "Mars Attacks!") I feel the utmost confidence in saying that his latest film, an adaptation of the 19th Century play, "Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" may just be his best movie to date. First off, let me start with what I remember of the old Hard Rock: it was dark, cramped, noisy, and the waitstaff all looked like musicians, roadies, and groupies. The walls were covered with guitars, band photos, playlists, venue flyers... everywhere you looked, there was more to look at than you had time for. The atmosphere there was surreal. Alright, a slight warning first, there are a few minor spoilers in this review, and one larger one that won't be a surprise to anyone who's seen a movie from Hollywood ever.

I went to my friend Jay's house to check out the new PS3, played a little of Tony Hawk's Session 8 and Call of Duty 3. The graphics are cool, though in my opinion they made Tony Hawk look like a total fag. I still wouldn't shell out 600 bills for one though, it just doesn't seem worth the money, plus they only have like 6 games. The controls for Session 8 are the same as older versions of Hawk's games. Some of the details in Call of Duty were unreal. But, like I said, I'm glad I didn't camp out... (more...)

Nothing beats the taste of real bbq. i'm not talkin about grilling, i'm talkin bbq. the art of slow cooking over low heat. my weapon of choice is the Silver Smoker by Charbroil.
If you have a few hours to kill, set up one of these bad larrys, get some charcoal, your favorite aromatic hardwood, and a couple racks of ribs or whatever meat makes you rave and drool like a good troglodyte. with some practice and patience you'll have the best damn tasting meal you ever had.
